Hello. A/C vents blow strong at first but eventually blows less and less. WHen the A/C first comes on, it blows out nice cold air...after a few hrs, hardly any air comes out at all? Both the outside fan and air handler are operating...could it be a bad capacitor?

The symptoms you describe sound more like a coil freezing up. When this occurs, do you see any ice on the larger copper line?
