My furnace blower is still not cooperating and it has a hot smell (overheating). I also no longer hear the furnace completely coming on as if something was clogging it, but nothing was found. What should I do next?

Since there isn't a forum moderator in this forum, I would hope you have contacted your local heating company by now. It has been too long that your posting has sat here without a reply.

My guess, based on the information you provided, your fan motor or fan switch is defective. The furnace may be cycling off on high limit to keep from melting down.

This isn't a good situation, if it's happening, and further attempts to use it may cause more damage to the firebox. Therefore, if you happen back to this forum to check on your topic, have that furnace serviced asap.
