Are there any auto paints (Imron, Acrylic, etc) that can be brushed on smooth metal? I'd like to renew old paint, and have lots of corners, different materials, etc, to make brush on attractive. I'd like the shiny looks of one of those. Be masking forever if I spray.

If I have to, I can use water based latex outdoor gloss paint, but I'd rather have better gloss.

I doubt any automotive finish would brush well. If spraying isn't an option, I'd use an oil base gloss enamel and a good china bristle brush. Thin the enamel a little and sand lightly between coats. Brush marks should be minimal.

Thanks. At least one option.
