I want to replace the pump diaphragm on a TK 1IA1, 2cyl. carburator on a Sears string trimmer.
Sears wants an unbelivable $12.64 + $7.00 S/H. This diaphragm is smaller than a postage stamp and will fail again in 5 or so years. Is Sears the only source for this diaphragm?

Try a small engine shop. Take the model number of the equipment as well as the carburetor numbers. I am not familiar with TK carburetor model 1IA1. Double-check your numbers. TK carburetors are not very common but most shops should be able to get kits or individual parts for them at prices that will beat Sears.

TK carburetor parts are kind of pricey so Sears price may not be that bad, but if you can find it locally you won't have to pay for shipping.
