I have a few popup sprinkler heads (non rotary) that don't pop up all the way; I have tried my best to clean out the soil around them. Can the sprinkler shafts be lubricated so they pop up better or will the oil ruin the seals? Thanks for any advice.

It might be a lack of water pressure.

Could be sediment or debris in the line. Pull one head from each zone (at separate times) and run the system for a few minutes to flush out the lines. I pull off each head every spring (small system) and clean the screens inside as well.
