Hi, My Husky rider has 43 hrs on it. It is a great mower. The second to last time I used it, the engine starting dying after a few minutes under a load. If I turn the blades off, it ran ok.
I changed the in line fuel filter. I ran it today and it worked great until I hit a slope. The engine sputered then died. For the remainder of the mowering, it would run a few minutes, die. Once backfired. I am at wits end. Can anyone advise?
Thank you.

There is a Husquvarna, and then there is a Huskee mower. They are quite different, so which do you have? What engine is on it?
With the info so far, my best guess is water in the carb.

It is a Husquvarna. Briggs 38577, 21 hp. 48Inch cut.

I would say clean out the carburetor. The carb on that engine isn't very tolerant of trash at all. You may find water in the bowl as well.
