Hello do it yourselfers.
I'm replacing the manifold on a craftsman high pressure washer. Can anyone explain how to remove the unloader stem? Thanks in advance. Folktunes.

Hello folktunes!

There are probably hundreds, if not thousands, of different unloaders on different pumps. I don't know what one you have, but generally you'd access the unloader valve by unscrewing the cap, or releasing the clip that holds it in, then pull it out along with whatever related spring(s) and valve parts are involved. Sometimes you need needlenose pliers to grab it and pull it out. Sometimes they are stuck and corroded in place. Often enough on cheap units (pump under engine style) the stuff is so corroded and jammed up that you can't even get it out without destroying it.
