I need to know a fast and effective way to remove drywall mud off of the vinyl portion of windows. I assume a metal scraper cannot be used.

A damp rag or sponge should do it.

Ya, if it's the premixed j/c in a bucket, water will disolve it. If it is a setting compound :wall: you will have to chip it off and then scrub off the residue.
