The heating is working upstairs fine. A plumber came in and "bleed the lines" but the first floor heat doesn't work. He took the thermostat almost off, touched a couple of wires and the first floor heat went on - two days ago. The next morning the heat wasn't working again. Is this a thermostat problem or an electrical problem with one of the wires that connect the thermostat.
Can anybody tell me what I can do?
Thanks.
Happy Thanksgiving.

Hi:MaureenL

The information you got from GLOBALMECHANICS is good to at least hold you over.

What I would recommend you do is contact that repair person you paid the first time and have them return and fix it correctly this time.

Good Luck,
