Hi all,
This might be the wrong forum. I am wondering if anyone knows of do it yourself polishing of glass eyeglasses, with over-the-counter products. I have a few specs on one lens from accident. They are so minor I can’t feel them, but are very visible.
Thanks

There are products touted to remove scratches from eye glasses. If scratches are deep or lenses pitted, that may present a greater challenge.

CR (I think) just had an article on one of the liquid scratch fillers.. the testers said it made the lens blurry. I'd probably call an optometrist for advice. If they are coated or anti-reflective you could be OOL.

Thanks for the inputs.
I have an appointment with optometrist in June for new prescription (old one 3+ years old). The present glasses help and I want to keep as backup. I think I'll ask the optometrist if they will polish the lenses for free.
