Hi there,
There's two noises in a bedroom that can be very annoying, and I somewhat believe both have to do with the heating system. I need help in defining what the cause may be so I can take it to the superintendents and perhaps get something done.
First, a little background: every apartment has baseboard heating, a long pipe that goes along the wall and is heated with water.
The noises are these: I hear a droning sound in the bedroom, it varies in volume or rhythm. You can hear it in the bathroom (which is next to the bedroom) and in various places throughout the apartment building. I have no clue what it could be but I somehow have a feeling it's a vent that's vibrating
The other noise, which was easier to pinpoint, is an electrical hum coming from the baseboard heater, where there are electrical wires. This one should be easier to define.
Thanks for any and all help.
