I am planning remodel of my L-Shaped 12' x 10' x 6-wide master bath, primarily for resale. Existing bathroom has 72" x 36" x 12" deep recessed tub/shower. For remodel, I am trying to decide if I should install undermount soaking tub with tiled shower surround or go with a large, custom shower. What are most buyers typically looking for in a master bath these days? I am leaning toward a nice custom shower (72" x 40") with frameless glass door, and multi-nozzle shower panel. However, I am concerned that lack of a tub will hurt resale. I have a recently remodeled second bathroom with a standard 5' tub and tiled shower surround in addition to and 8' x' 8' hot tub outdoors. Space is not large enough to have separate tub and shower unless toilet is moved to another closet area adjacent to the bathroom.

Thoughts and opinions on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
