I have a Scag Model STC Tiger Cub 48" hydromatic sit down, with a Kawasaki model FH601V code # SC21 19 horse engine. I worked 5 hours one day and the next day it wouldn't start. I have changed the battery, replaced the ignition switch, replaced the PTO switch and have checked all 4 safety interlock switches. I do not get power to the coil and starter. In a nutshell I can't get the engine started.

Does anyone out there know what I can check next???

Have you checked the fuse??

What is the model number off of the Scag Mower?

Along with AA ^^^^^ Also check the start relay and it could be the safety switch module as well if all switches tested good.....

The first thing I look at is the seat switch, pull the plug and ck. the little center with the springs that are supposed to make contact when the plug is pulled from the switch. looks like a little black moveable center, knock it out and pull the spring with it, many times it stops the unit from starting.
The model should be a stc48 19kai or very close to it, and it may be an interlock module problem.
