Hi all,
I live in southern california. We have a sun room that is made of all glass. Needless to say, it is very warm in the summer months. I received a quote from a shop and it cost about $5000 to have 3M Prestige window film installed. I am a diy'er, and I would like to attempt this myself.
Does anyone here know where to get a lot of film for cheaper than Homedepot? I am looking for 500 sq ft.
Thanks.

Try Googling "bulk window film"; I tried and got quite a few sites. Not sure what kind of price the Big Box stores works out to, but one site I tried had a 100' roll of 36" film (300 sq ft) for $567.95.
