Can the air handler with this system be hung horizontally?
It is currently mounted vertically on a pedestal in a closet.
Outside unit model # 2TTR2030
Air handler model # ARUF030-00A-1
System is coming out of a house which is being remodeled to generate significant additional square footage.
The plan is to install it in a home where the air handler needs to be hung horizontally in the garage.

Most air handler can be either way, I'll see if I can find the install manual. Who's doing the work of taking out the charge, and reinstalling this?

A HVAC guy will handle that part.

ARUF... appears not to be a Trane mfd air handler.

I agree, not a valid #.

If another dealer is doing the job, they should be able to do the job right.

The ARUF turned out to be a Goodman unit.
Thanks!

Yes, the ARUF is a Goodman multi-position air handler/electric furnace. This unit can be mounted horizontally on either side. We have installed many in both horizontal and vertical applications. It's actually a nice unit which is easy to install and service.
