Hi, I have the Husky model 44 with a 16" bar and an Oregon 34 chain.
I was thinking of replacing it with this:

For 35.00 for a bar and chain seems fair? I want the reg. chain, not all the extra guides on the safety anti-kick chain. I bought the saw in 1989 brand new. It still runs great and has served me well through the years, but the bar and my latest chain are showing considerable wear.

Would this saw also handle an 18" bar as nice as the 16" that I have always had on this saw? Although the 16 has been good enough for what I do, I have considered an 18" from time to time.

Thanks for your time and any response.

Update: I just saw this:

$15.00 for a 16" bar and chain? Does anyone know if this is junk or just a very good deal.

I'd say $15 for a bar and chain is too cheap, and probably inferior chinese parts. In my opinion, there is no place for an inferior part on a chainsaw. Your links didn't work for me, so I couldn't look at the items you are considering.
