I have a 6 inch thick asphalt pad (old shed on it). Can I
put a 6-7 person hot tub ( around 5000 pounds ) on it???

I will also put a Gazebo there but it won't be on the asphalt pad
as it is only big enough for the tub.

Should I put patio stones on it in case it sinks? or build
a wood deck on it?

since the weight will be pretty evenly spread out it should hold up well, how long has the asphault been there? if it doesn't show any cracking and uneven spots it probably be good.
