I have recently seen this site and hope that I can find an answer to my dilemma.
My A/C unit is linked to a Honeywell Digital Thermostat and last week when we switched it on Auto it kicked in then immediately switched off, then started again then stopped again continuosly.I had to switch the A/C off and I am unable to get it working as normal.Would this be a thermostat problem?

Can be the tstat . But you dont say what units you have there. So Id say check the freon first can have a low pressure cut out in it . Many do have them. Might also look at the contactor points on out door unit
