OK
I have decided to have the following equipment installed, and would like your opinions before purchase. My home is in Atlanta and is approx 1675 sq ft. I had 3 contractors come out for bids and 2 of them used Goodman only equipment and one gave me bids for both Goodman and Trane equipment (huge difference in cost). This is what I have decided on:
GMH950703BX furnace
GSC140361A Condenser
CAPF3636B6 Coil
All 3 said to replace my line set, so I will, also 2 of them said they need to run a new flue for my furnace and it will be PVC pipe, is this correct? They also said they cannot run it in the same area as my current metal flue, but will run it outside the side of my house, why is that?
Thank you for your educated opinions!

It goes with how long will you stay in this home. If 10 years or more go for the good stuff for sure .With the trane and a 10 year warranty also look at a V/S blower. Go for a seer unit over 15 for where you are. Yes a 90% furnace will vent outside with a PVC pipe.

Thanx for your reply, if I had the cash I would go for the "good stuff". But I dont so what I am needing is to know if this combo is OK together? When money permits (new house in the works) I will go for a higher end system, but that is for another thread.
