I have a 148" long vertical blind with cloth slats that are 72" tall. The string to pull the slats closed and open is fraying - does anyone know if it is repairable or if you have had the same experience and tried to fix it. Hopefully you had success in repairing it. Its a Graber unit.

First of all you'll have get the correct type and thickness of cord. It's not as easy as it looks to record. The carriers with the rod have to be removed to record it. I would take the track to a Graber dealer to have the cord replaced.
