Going with R22
I can get a Carrier Comfort series system for $1,900
http://www.residential.carrier.com/products/acheatpumps/ac/comfort.shtml
There is also a Goodman unit for about $1400. Who makes them, or are they their own brand?

Thanks,
John

Goodman makes goodman (also sold as Amana).
Both are very good you cant go wrong either way.
