Hi-The mechanism that allows the feet to recline on my husband's favorite recliner is broken. :wall: I took off the handle you pull to extend the foot rest, and the cable is no longer attached to the handle. It appears the cable connects to the handle mechanism and that connecting part is now MIA. Can someone please tell me where I can get the missing part and what it is called? I cannot find the brand anywhere on the chair, but it does have a model number of IT116CHRRECLSWRK. Any help you can give would be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure that you can only get parts for these chairs from the manufacturer. You need to go to the store where you bought it and they may be able to contact the manufacturer. The other option would be to take it to a place that upholsters and/or repairs furniture, but of course they will want to do the work and will not sell you the part.
