we have a 10 x 10 concrete slab outside our back door. we would like to paint it and add to it to make a nice patio. However, our very large central A/C unit is in the way. The biggest problem I have is that it has a 6 inch tube that sticks out of the ground where the condensation comes out. we are in Florida, so it runs all the time. Could anyone tell me how to run a pipe in the ground so the water can drain somewhere else? Once I have that problem solved, does anyone have any ideas of some way to "hide" the A/C so it's not a big eye sore? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I don't know how to do the pipe but we are in fla also and we have bushes around our a/c and that hides it nicely.

It is very difficult to offer suggestions without seeing what you have.
If you take some digital pictures of your unit and post them on a site like Photobucket we can take a look.
Bushes and shrubbery can be good but what ever you do you can not restrict air movement around the unit and shrubbery and can encourage litter to accumulate.
