I am interested in adding a custom fountain in my foyer. I have not decided yet on materials, but slate, natural river rock and Italian copper are some of the materials I have been looking at. I am figuring that the fountain should be about 6 feet in length. Anyone have experience with large size custom fountains? I visited a few sites, Water Gallery offers custom fountains and I also checked out the big box home improvement shops.

Try a large nursery that does landscaping services.They have catalogs of pre-built fountains in every style and price range. I'm sure if you find nothing that suits your taste, the nursery will be able to design a fountain for you.
