What is the best approach to cleaning deck material, without using too many chemicals? We have an IPE deck and I want to apply some oil to the deck, but before I do so, I wanted to clean the surface. This is a new deck, so I'm not looking to apply too much scrubbing or chemicals. Thanks.

I use hot water with a good dollop of bleach in it.
