I was given an AdobAir swamp cooler Model # ED430 or ES430. There is no power cord to plug the cooler into the wall outlet. It has the motor and pump power cords plugged into a box that is located inside the cooler. Coming out the other side of the box are 8 wires that are just hanging with no information on them or on the motor about what the wires are.
2 are black.
2 are white.
2 are green.
1 is orange.
1 is red.
Can you please tell me how to connect the 8 wires to the power cord so I can plug the cooler into a wall outlet?
Also how to connect a switch to turn the cooler on, off, low, high, etc.
What gage number does the power cord need to be?
How many wires does the power cord need sticking out to connect to the 8 wires that are hanging out the box?
Some say 3 others 4.
A diagram that is made for people that don't know much about electricity will work fine. Thanks, Tony.

The motor is an Emerson Model # S63NXJFG-7609.
