I'm residing my home and would like to add more insulation.
From the inside out I have:
3/8 sheetrock
2/4 construction 16 o.c.
blown-in fiberglass w/celotex sheathing
some areas have fiberglass batts w/osb sheathing
I would like to add another 1/2 inch of rigid foam possibly polyisocyanurate (Dow) or another product (any ideas). I quess my main concern is moisture being trapped inside the wall cavity when I seal this all up. Vinyl siding will be installed over Tyvek to finish it up.
