I am in the planning stages of a porch remodel that includes making a 3-season room using aluminum storm windows to enclose the area. The windows won't cover the whole wall vertically, but have a section of siding below and header above. My question is how to frame the window opening to keep the sill and surrounding members from rotting out?

I have yet to find any good website or book that shows framing for this type of construction. I probably can come up with a design given time, but don't want to reinvent the wheel if I can help it. Thanks for the help!
