Well, here it goes. We've got 6 ceiling fans in the house. All 6 have wireles remotes. For some reason, NONE of them work. We can cut power to the fans by turning their individual light switches on and off, but the remotes refuse to work on ALL fans. Any suggesstions from anyone out there? Anyone..at all? I know, this is strange...and very creepy. We've had these fans since September of last year when we moved in(new construction, btw)...the batteries are fine. What could possibly be going on? I always use the remote to operate the fan and suddenly all fans stopped talking to their remotes. Odd, I know.

With 6 fans and 6 remotes, "odd" is putting it mildly. First you have to make sure the dip switch on both the fans and remotes match each other. Label the remotes for the rooms/fans they belong to, or you will drive yourself crazy. I know it sounds elementary, but you do have your main switch in the "on" position when you are trying your remotes, right???

Well I managed to figure out this strange issue. Turns out, although all the dipswitches were set correctly (and obviously different), there was one remote that has a stuck button. When I pulled the battery from that remote all the other fans work without a problem. When I put the battery back in, fans still work. When I make the button stick, fans stop working. Going to call the mfr. to get a replacement remote. :wall:
I think I will label the remotes just in case though!!! I ran around to the different rooms and am surprised I didn't mix them all up!!
