I turned my heat pump to cool and noticed that I was not getting cold air. The outside unit was not running. I took off the cover and looked for a reset or a fuse. When I pushed the contactor in the unit starts up and when I let go it stops. thought it might be the thermostat so I changed it and still have the same problem. I even changed the contactor with no change. Is there a fuse or a reset on the 24 volt side? Need help please. Outside unit does not run on the heat side either.
