When I first flush the toilet I can hear the vent on the bathtub gurggling. I went and looked down the vent fron the roof but could not see anything blocking it. This just started about two to three months ago in the winter. Do I stick a shop vac hose down the vent to try and suck something up or any ideas.

Typically vent blockages are small enough that running a water hose down the vent and turning it on will clear it.... Be careful up there...
