I am installing an exhaust fan in my bathroom. I want it to be wired into my existing switch which controls the vanity light. How do I wire this circiut so both the light and the fan come on together?

Welcome to the forums! Extend the wiring from the vanity light over to the location for the fan. Black to black, white to white bare to bare. You didn't say if you were replacing a fan or installing a new one. It will be a little different if you are replacing one, so let us know.

before you can go any more further turn off the power to that bathroom and verify the numbers of wires is hook up there and let us know what numbers of wires in there and and if this is a switch loop or not.
