My wand is 3' and I would like to make my own 10' extension. I tried 3/4" pvc, but it blew apart. Steel pipe is too heavy. Don't want to spend $100 for one . Any suggestions?

You really need to be careful of pressures that can hurt you with make shift parts.

Wands are not that expensive.
