Hi,

I just bought a house that had a bathroom upgrade nearly complete. Unfortunately the Kohler glass shower door was not installed and I didn't require the seller to install it before I purchased (stupid, I know now).

I have the instructions but they are not written for a novice and the original owner tried to install them but it was "too complex" for him. I seem to be able to get everything put together but when ever I try to open the door it pushes the bottom track into the shower stall rather than simply swinging open. I would screw down the track to stop this from happening but the instructions don't show that as a step. Does anyone have any advice for this instillation?

Hi Lori - You need to provide more info on the door. Kohler makes lots of different shower doors. Can you link to the door on their web site or provide some pics?

The model number is either K-701214, K-701215, K-701216, K-701222, K-701223, K-701224, K-701225, K-701226, or K-701227. Our "installation guide" (otherwise known as how to make yourself crazy and get a divorce in 15 easy steps) applies for all those models. Which are discontinued on Kohler's site.
