Hi there. I'm considering getting a curved shower rod, but have noticed that most manufacturers recommend installing the rod a few inches further INSIDE the shower than where the original straight shower rod is located. The problem is that my shower is completely tiled, and i would have to patch the old holes, which i don't think would look very good. Does anyone have any ideas on how the curved rod would look/function if i tried installing it in the holes left behind by the old straight shower rod? Thanks!

Welcome to the forums! The reason they suggest moving the ends further in is the arc of the curve needs to be just outside the rim of the tub/shower. If it is too far out, it will tend to kick out and possibly flood the floor. Do they suggest a method of supporting the middle of the arc? It will tend to be heavy and can sag over time. Just thought I'd throw that in for free.
