I am building a 10x16 shed and I'm in the middle of building my roof trusses. Two of my trusses are off about .25 from being square with the other trusses. Will this be a problem? Must they be perfect?
Also, According to my plans the end of the trusses stop at the end of the wall. I wanted the roof to overhang. Can I nail a 2x4to the end of the joists all the way across giving me a little support to have a small overhang. I just don't want the roof to stop exactly at the end of the wall.
Thanks,
Michael

What do you mean by "being square with the other trusses"?
How much overhang do you want at the ends?

Thanks for responding.
When I lay the truss on trusses I have already build the angle is off a little.
I'm wanting about a 4 inch overhang.

Most likely the 1/4 inch will not be noticable after the roof is completed. Shingles will hide minor differences such as this.
Rip a 2x4 down to 3 1/4 in. and fasten edge wise on the rake. Add a 3/4 in. trim board and you have 4 in. You may want to drop the ripped 2x4 down below the roof a bit to fit the trim board.
