I've got a Troy-Bilt tuff cut 230 (walk behind) with a B&S engine. I've torn the engine down to the flywheel and can't find the model, type or code. The only numbers I can find are on a sticker on the back of the gas tank. The numbers are family - 2BSXS.1901VA - 275194. What in the world am I missing?

They are usually on the engine schroud just above the sparkplug. Have a good one. Geo

All's well...I found the numbers...M-123K09, T-0194. They were on a tab on the bottom side of the shroud. They were covered with several years of rust and muck.
