My house has the drain pipes roughed in the basement. There are two coming out of the floor, the toilet and the shower/bath drain, I assume, and another coming out of the floor against the wall, marked wet vent. I don't plain on putting in a shower. Can I use the shower drain for a sink ?? The drains run into a sealed pit and are pumped up to the septic. Thanks..

Welcome to the forums. Possibly not, since the shower drain will have a ptrap integrated into it, and you can't double trap a sink. Is there a sand box under and around the drain for the shower? Can you tell if there is indeed a trap on the shower drain?

I poured water into the drain and I see water at the bottom of the pipe. Can I just run the sink drain without a p trap? Other wise can I run the drain pipe to the wet vent which will have a second sink draining into it. Question being can two sinks run into one drain??
