Can't get a spark across the plug when I ground it to the frame, I have direct wired the seat safety switch, is there another safety switch that could be causing it to ground and prevent the spark plug from firing?

R U getting spark from the wire itself,might be a bad sparkplug.

Newer seat switches are tamper proof, what is your model, DOM and serial number of your machine?
