I'm trying to decide between kraftmaid and wellborn forest for my kitchen cabinets. I'm looking to get Maple cabinets with All Plywood construction, which they both offer. Is one much better than the other? Should one be more expensive than the other? Will I be satisfied with either kraftmaid and wellborn forest?

Have not looked at either for a few years, but both used to be good. In addition to plywood boxes(3/4 is better than 1/2), look for all hardwood(no particle board) dovetailed drawers, ball bearing full extension slides, etc. For comparable quality, I would expect to pay a comparable price. But one may offer more bells/whistles than the other, and/or custom sizing.

I think it will come down to personal choice and budget. I have glazed maple Kraftmaid cabinets in my kitchen and I am pleased with them.
Plywood boxes are worth the extra money but be careful about optional features like buffered drawer slides and some of the trim pieces. I don't think they offer a 3/4' box though.
