I am going to have a small bathroom built that only has a toilet and one vanity in it. I would like the vanity to be pretty small with only one sink and a mirror up. The single door that enters into the room will open up outward from the room not inward. What is the minimum dimensions the room can be inorder to meet code. Thanks

Code varies by locality (as you may well know), i'll walk you through my logic for such a space. you typically need 30" min. width across toilet, and 24" min. clear space in front of toilet. Since a typ. toilet is about 30" long that puts you at 2'6"x4'6". you'll need space for a small pedestal sink so you should need 2'6"x6'0" but you MAY be able to get away with 2'6"x5'6". Run it by your local building officials.

Agreed. You'll save time by asking the building dept. first. Good luck!
