I have an older MTD rototiller. On the handle it says MTD 3.5. The only numbers still readable on the info plate (I found this plate covering the hole that accesses the belt under the motor base) is 214-100A B (maybe B1).
I am looking for information on how to lower the motor into position so the belt will connect onto the pulley.
I am also hoping to find instructions on how to adjust the tension. Right now it looks like the motor is supposed to drop in then the belt is somehow supposed to be pulled onto the rear pulley. Hope someone can answer the question or point me in the right direction
Thanks in advance
