Outdoor Power Equipment and Small Engines - Belt for Murray mower, what size.

Hi, I have a murray rideing mower and the blet for the blades came off today a couple times, I guess it is streached out I only used it last year once every couple weeks I would say 25 hrs? anyway I don `t know what size I need, can anyone help me??

Take the belt to a mower shop. They can measure and usually match it.

Looks like if someone still has old micro-fiche laying around is the only way to look this one up, I can check mine tomorrow if no one else has on-line or fiche laying around.

You may get lucky measuring the old belt, But quite a few Murray belts are odd sized.

It may be a week spring holding the tension if the belt still looks good.

According to fiche lookup this calls for a Murray part number 300680MA. My measurement says 5/8" X 77 1/2".

My measurement says 5/8" X 77 1/2".

My fiche card states 5/8" x 77 3/4" ?
