Hello,
I have a Homelite Trimlite Trimmer. I bought a Grass Gator replacement head for the trimmer and it has a difficulty starting. i don't understand why, because it runs fine sometimes, but i don't know if the engine doesn't have enough torque or something else.

If you don't have a clutch on the trimmer & the replacement head is bigger & heaver than the origional one, what happens is the drive cable will twistup, Than it untwists, the engine will fire to start, & this twisting motion fights against it. Kinda know what I mean??? Roger
