Panasonics CT-25G5B:confused: color TV sound and picture OK,but picture lose vertical
size,vertical stage working all compoment are good there is
no adjustment for vertical size IC use LA7838.v.york OK,IC OK,Voltage vcc 12V vert.out vcc 24v all cap ok all resistors ok.what could be wrong.

Did you touch up the solder joints? Hopefully it's something that simple ... or a connector that needs to be reseated?

Bad caps in vertical section.You can find out which ones using a hair dryer and chill spray.

deffenitly sounds like bad connections on the vertical pins. Resolder them even if they look ok. if that doesn't help look for faulty caps around verticle circuit. Try heating them with a hair dryier and then freeze spray.
