I have this unit that is only 2 months old, it has already DIED!!! I have contacted Logitech and they did some trouble shooting and said it sounds like the power inverter. Logitech also said that they have had problems with this unit and that it may be more than the power inverter. They also said the power inverter is on back order and they don't know if they will ever get them in????????:wall: They offered a refund but I must send the unit back to their offices in California, I live up in Canada, it would cost me a mint to ship this down there and they will not cover the shipping costs!!!
Anybody have a similar experience?? Can I purchase a generic power inverter that would work for this unit?
Thanks in advance for any help at all.

Logitech has distributors and retail outlets in Canada. It shouldn't be that hard to find a regional distributor or dealer to accept the return so you can get your refund. Sorry I don't have time right now to search it out for you.

Could you just take it back to the shop where you bought it?

It was purchased at TigerDirect, and there return policy is 30 days after purchase. When the problem is 30 days or more after purchase then you must deal with Logitech directly.
I still can't believe that Logitech doesn't have a Canadian Division for warranty issues. I did find Logitech Canada and called them, but they also admitted that product had to be delivered back to California? :( I am disappointed in Logitech, I purchased the system because Logitech is a big known company with a good reputation, but this is horrible customer service :wall:

If you can find the spec, I am sure you could find an equivalent replacement power supply.
