I took out the backup battery to our Westec 701CE alarm system as it kept saying low battery. At this point, all is still normal. By the time we got a new battery ( @ 1 week) we had multiple power outages in the neighborhood. All programming to our unit appears lost. I've reinstalled the battery, still blank screen except for 1 2 3 4 5 6 in bold at the bottom of the screen. Last update to unit was in November 1996. Any help to reinitialize the system.

The Westec branded hardware is pretty much orphaned. The only useful contact info I have is:

Some of their hardware is rebranded ITI and Ademco hardware. This brand pops up now and then, but no one really has much luck with getting techinical information for them.

ADT bought out the West coast accounts of Westec. Might want to check with them or their website.
