I've got this great metallic paint that I rubbed over black melamine paint on table tops. I love the look. Now I'm thinking of buying these great old pub chairs from the early 60's. They are beigy-orange. I want them in a different place from the tables so I'm thinking of giving them that copper-bronze look. Has anyone heard of a product that could be rubbed on, not to have total coverage but a varying effect? Could I use the auto-paint I've heard works on vinyl and rub the sprayed paint around? thanks!
