well I haven't took it out of shed yet but I was able to move it forward and backward. Which is great! I foolishly overlooked something on this craftsman riding mower. All it was, was a losse ider pulley and the pulley above the rear end could be spun by hand in both directions. I also noticed the drive belt was on but when I had someone shift speeds I saw that the linkage put pressure on belt actually pushing belt outwards. Anyways like I said I fired it up and moved it backward and forward. hanks again for all your help.
