I have an adt alarm system and i do not know the code, I have tried the default code 6321, 63211, and 4321. none of these will work. The alarm that i have is a simon model number 60-776-95r. I also tried the default code in the instruction manuel 1234. How do I de-code this and reset my own password ?

You can try and clear memory, which may or may not reset your code(s)...depends on what ADT programmed a pariticular option to do...Unplug transformer and back up battery...Open cover, press and hold at the same time the CANCEL, CLOCK SET, and MINUTES + button while you plug the transformer back in. Keep holding until the panel starts talking. Keep in mind, you'll have to reprogram everything.
